Fine Holiday Accommodation – between St Ives and Penzance
Unique, quality self-catering holiday accommodation in a fantastic location. The Old Primary School is an imposing granite building, constructed in the late 19th century. It has two units holiday cottages. A one-bedroomed cottage which sleeps 2 to 3 people, and a three-bedroomed apartment which sleeps 6 people.
The building was the village school for about 100 years before closing in 1982. After the school closed the building became a costume hire and tattoo parlour, and then in 1990 was converted for residential use. The current owners remodelled the property in the year 2000 to form the holiday accommodation.

We loved the cottage, it was like home from home, everything we needed was provided. The cottage was ideally located for both countryside and the coast, walking to the nearest beach Marazion was easy. It is very easy to explore the area so makes an ideal base. It is the lovliest location and has a very pretty garden with amazing views. A perfect holiday for us, and would highly recommend to others. Enjoy, we will be back one day to enjoy again, I'm sure!

We were most impressed with this accommodation. The welcome greeting and familiarisation tour of the cottage was great and the accommodation was clean and well maintained. Views from the windows included a field of flowers immediately adjacent and Saint Michael's Mount in the distance. The local village is lovely with a beautiful church and a nice pub. Overall impression great accommodation, peace and quiet and a relaxing holiday.

We found this nice building in the internet and booked directly. The presentation in the net is correct and without exaggeration! Everything was ok: good furnishing with all necessary facilities, clean and well maintained. The place in the village of Ludgvan was quiet. And the town of Penzance was not too far. The highlight was the view from the window to the castle of Mt. Michael in the Mounts Bay. Summary: this property is an attractive place to stay for a Cornwall holiday

An excellent stay at The Old Primary School. We rented the one bed cottage which was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lovely views of St Michaels Mount from the window was a real bonus. The cottage is in easy reach of the coast as well as Penzance and St Ives. Good pub just up the hill for an evening meal or lunch. Steve and Stacey made us feel very welcome with use of the garden area. We will certainly be booking again in the future. .

How lucky were we to find this beautifully converted cottage to stay in?! Clean, comfortable and very well equipped and wow the location and views just perfect. It is next door to Marazion - one of the most impressive sea-side places in Cornwall, and really well located for exploring. We can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you Steve and Stacey for a really exceptional break. We're already looking forward to coming back.
